We are delighted to welcome optical assistant, Estefania Legaza, to the front-of-house team at the practice. With a passion for optics, Estefania brings a real enthusiasm for eye care, having previously worked in a high street opticians.
Prior to her move into the optical industry, she worked in various retail and IT roles both in Edinburgh and her native Spain, as well as pursuing studies as a lab technician. Her desire to help and care for people, led her to the optical industry where she is keen to develop her knowledge and experience.
Estefania said “I’m delighted to join Cameron Optometry. I wanted to find a place where I could continue working in the field I love and feel part of a team. After a few meetings I quickly realised here the atmosphere is very friendly and as a result the patients feel welcomed and relaxed. I’m very keen to get to know the patients and help them in the practice. I’m also very keen to develop my knowledge in the industry and already Cameron Optometry is supporting me in doing that.”
When not at work, Estefania enjoys live concerts, astronomy, playing board games and is always keen to try new activities such as learning new languages and pottery. She loves brand Feb31st, having never seen the personalised wooden frames before and looks forward to seeing patient’s unique design.
