Natalie Smith

Natalie is our technician for our Tear Clinic, assisting in helping patients manage dry eye delivering various treatments alongside the optometrist. When not in the clinic, she will often be the one to answer your calls when you phone. She loves her varied role, and is currently undertaking qualifications to further her knowledge of dry eye.

Born in South Africa, she has dotted between there and the UK throughout her life. She loves to travel and spent a couple of years teaching in Bangkok and another two years running a resort in Mozambique. Trained in classical ballet, she also holds a degree in social media marketing and management. Natalie moved to Edinburgh in 2021 to settle down but she’s not sure she’ll ever lose that travel bug.
