A friendly team, we work well with other suppliers, fitting in seamlessly with cast and crew alike, helping with the smooth running of the production. Our primary on-location contact lens technician, Heather Muir, has vast experience in the film industry in numerous roles so is well versed in the pressures and requirements a production brings. In addition, experience and formal qualifications in supporting anxious patients, means we always bring a calming presence, always ensuring actors wearing lenses are comfortable on set.

Trusted contact lens expertise for film

Our optometry experience means we always ensure maintaining good eye health is at the core of everything we do. Based in an optometry practice, we have a team of nine optometrists, and a wider team of optical assistants, available to provide eye care in the practice if required by the cast or crew during their time in Scotland.

We select a contact lens supplier depending on the requirements. Most commonly our very detailed designs are provided by the hugely talented Cantor & Nissel who are specialists in hand painted lenses and who we have worked with throughout our 50+ year history.
