Karen Cluckie

Originally from the Isle of Man, Karen joined the practice in 2023. An impressive career in optics, Karen started off working in an opticians as her Saturday job when she was at school. She qualified as a dispensing optician almost a decade ago and has since completed an honours degree in Public Health.

She has worked at independent practices in the past and loves that she is able to spend time with patients to provide them with spectacles that not only help them, often improving the way they live day-to-day, but also make them feel great, finding them frames they fall in love with. She was drawn to Cameron Optometry due to our forward thinking approach when it comes to adopting the latest testing equipment and lens technology. She is developing this experience further, adding to her skills in complex dispensing and low vision.

Karen enjoys playing the guitar, cooking up new recipes and going for long walks with her dog.
