Celebrating 50 years in practice

Posted on 21st February 2020

This year we reach a new milestone; Cameron Optometry is 50. We are looking forward to a year of celebrations, as we reflect on this past half century, as well as looking towards the next 50 years in practice.

Founded in 1970, the practice quickly grew a reputation for excellence in eye care with a focus on contact lenses. Since then, we have won many awards, and always strive to keep improving, providing the highest level of care for our patients.

Over the years we have built valued relationships with our patients, many of whom have been with us since we first opened on Queensferry Street. We now treat the children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren, of many of these patients.

We have various activities planned to mark our anniversary, but for now, thank you to all our patients for their continued support. And for anyone who has been with the practice for around 50 years, we would love to hear from you, perhaps sharing an anecdote, a photo of your first pair of glasses, or an up-to-date photo. Please drop us an email vision@cameronoptom.com, if you would like to be involved in marking this milestone.
